Folks, does anybody know of a fairly decent and convenient 2 brm serviced apartment in Bangkok for around THB1600/day? I'm looking for one in mid-January. Thanks.

I am also curious about this. Any suggestions, people?
How come not one person replied?

Not sure if it meets all your criteria, but I use the Emporium Suites on the skytrain line and have absolutely no complaints. It's convenient and I can get almost everywhere I need on the skytrain (barring the airport!) without having to endure traffic 'down below'. Best rates through asia web direct.

It's alright, I found a place in central Bangers... Woodlands Inn. It's no Hilton, but I just need the place to be central, clean and A/Ced, has a bed and puts on a half-decent brekky for under AUD$30/night. Found it. Now, can anyone please tell me if the Malaysian trains into Singapore are running or disrupted because of the flooding?

Actually, I stayed at Pathumwan House just beside MBK Plaza downtown. It was fantastic, cheap and decent. And huge! Enjoyed BKK, always have.
