I am very happy that Switzerland got through the first round.
I think that it will reach the finals, where it will lose to Brazil. That's my prediction!
Also, where is Don Corleone? Was he upset by our jokes of the Italian team? Come on, the world cup is all for fun!
Coming from southern Switzerland, I like to make fun of the Italians. Switzerland-Italy will probably play after the valiant Swiss team beats Ukraine. Then we will see who is the best! Bye bye Italy!

I am here... Getting ready for the "simpatici" Socceroos. It will be a tough match these guys have character, strength, and they are fast. We know well Bresciano, Kalac and Grella all Serie A players. As for the the swiss, they are a young and telented team. Great world cup. Hopp Swiss! P.S. I dont want to stir the pot here, but what is wrong with singaporean journalists?

this is what's wrong with them.
only one journalist from singapore is officially allowed to be at the world cup.
the rest are either hijacking or focusing more on betting, providing their $0.000000002735 worth of "expert advice" on odds.
can't blame them. they just have to go with the demand.

Football's not Singapore's strong suit... badminton, ping pong (sorry, table tennis) or bowling maybe. The Malaysians have better sports writers for football. With the exception of Fandi Ahmad (who's long retired as a player), Singapore can't really boast of any soccer "stars" even within SE Asia.

thanks god for internet. A shame though. but true. I saw a guy a few nights before, wearing a shirt of brasil or argentina...He did not even know the names of the players. I asked him. Why you support argentina. He said because I have $1000 on it.
