I am looking to buy good quality "kitchen gadgets" such as the thingy that Nigella uses to chop her herbs, zester, decent bowls, serving dishes etc. I am not talking about Ikea, as I have been there. I would like things that will last without paying a fortune.

Not sure about stuff that will last forever but not tagged with the usually exhorbitant price. They usually comes hand in hand. Havent seen very much of Nigella's show either however I have seen and bought some European name kitchen stuff from the usual suspect - Tangs, Takashimaya and Robinsons. Good luck!

yup, definitely the big department stores. I've bought cheapo ones in the past and they never last or do the job very well.
I was watching Nigella last week and my children stopped what they were doing and watched it with me.........strange, but I enjoyed watching it with them as they are very fussy eaters (thought it might do them good!).
Did anyone see the gin pen1stail she made on her beach holiday show? I can remember the ingredients (as I made it and very nice it was too.........from what I remember.....hic), but what was it called?

Nigella can cook in my kitchen any day. I haven't seen her show in years as Jamie's been doing his thing lately. But Nigella, yummm, especially when she licks that spatula.
