I was planning a nice chilled out with Mrs Inertia this Saturday, any recommendations for a nice chilled bar to sit in and drink some Martinis or such like and watch the world go by and catch up on the week?
Loof is not bad, so we may pop in there for a quicky, but any others you can think of? Has anyone been to the Chill Lounge (?) on Mohd Sultan, or I gather there is a hotel in Chinatown Ann Sang Hill, which is nice any comments or recommendations?
thanks

Post Bar at The Fullerton. Not much of a view like the rooftop place, but great range of drinks (ask for the pen1stail menu) and the bar nuts are all cashews and macadamias. Of course, the drinks are like 15 or more each, but it has comfy chairs. Then you can walk down by the river after getting a nice buzz on. Even hit some late night food on Circular Road.

Thanks Martian, yeah I like Post Bar, though the last time I went at about 9.15pm the music was sooooo loud it ruined the 'nice chill out experince' experience. If you like Martinis then you must have tried Mortons at (I can never remember the name of the hotel) near Marina, which has great Martinis, a fabulous happy hour with free steak sandwiches, though you have to get there early

If you want a more jungle setting - try One Rochester on North Buona Vista Road.

Villa Bali is another place with a Jungly feeling.
Adress is 9 Lock Road, (fairly close to Alexandra Road.)

Breeze Bar atop the Scarlet Hotel on Club/Erskine Street is very nice.
