What is the weirdest food you ever ate? For me I guess it would be: - Dog, in many different forms (sausage, barbeque, boiled, ...) - Ants (fried, with chillies) - The eggs of some insects, I believe some sort of bees (boiled and fried) I can't think of anything else unusual right now, and I am sure it won't compete with what others have eaten, but I thought it's not too bad. Who can do better?

Sheeps brain in bechamel sauce in Newtown, Sydney
Monkey brain in Taipei (actually didn't eat it, grossed me out)
Kudu brain in SA
Lots of brain, it seems, in an attempt at gaining intelligence.
Live and raw octopus in Seoul - - - awful stuff clinging to your teeth, mouth, throat on the way down . . .
Lots of other stuff. Part of the fascination of a lifetime travelling.

Pizza with blue cheese (I finished the right cheese). Definitely NOT something I would recommend to anybody.

Pan fried worms, the little white ones... kind of like tiny maggots. In a place called Mae Pyat in Myanmar.
Was also offered fully formed mynah hatchlings in a soup just outside of Shanghai. Had to turn that one down.

I haven't tried them myself, but I went to the flower market on sunday in Bangkok recently (I recommend that, nice bit of local color) and there was some foodstuff on sale, among which a big pan with what looked like boiled pen1sroaches. My thai host insisted they weren't pen1sroaches, but call them what you wish... Apparently they're popular in the North of Thailand.

Salmon slices preserved in oil, Italy.
Tasted like oily leather, an extremely fishy type of jerky.
So tough and fishy that every bite of that leathery things squeezes more of the dreaded, puke- inducing FISHY oil into your palate... and you are left in a catch 22. The whole family watches you while you chew.... to not chew? And let thought of that fishy that raw leathery thing on your tongue cause you to puke? Or to chew it up and dredge up more juicy fish oil whose taste will MAKE you puke?

i had baby scorpion before at a chinese restaurant.
they caramelize it onto a cracker and you eat the entire thing... just like what they do with snails and crackers at french restaurants.

Balut...a Philippine "delicacy" During my 10 years in the Philippines I tried it once...and never again. For those not yet initiated into this disgusting culinary curiosity: Balut is a boiled Duck egg with a more or less developed embryo inside. If it cracks hard between your teeth, it probably was one of the bones and therefore more rather then less developed No wonder I am a Vegetarian now !

To ear wax man, OMG. Which country ARE you from? Ya know Singapore is one of those few countries in the world where food is readily available in a short distance any time of the day?
