She now requires at least $1500, possibly more, worth of treatment for 2 enormous cavities that will possible require root canal therapy, or worse, extraction and replacement with a denture. These enormous cavaties can not have materialised in the last year, they've definitely been brewing for a while.

Before hiring, a suggest you request a copy of her dental records or send her for a checkup before you sign a contract.

The teeth that are affected, support a denture that replaces her 6 missing front teeth. If the teeth are extracted, then she will require a new denture. If she has root canal therapy, the teeth can stay - no new denture required.

There are dentists that are cheaper. Have the maid ask her friends for a dentist that is cheaper. Tell the maid she has to pay for half of it and then she will find the best price possible. You can talk to the denist office directly or visit the office to make sure the price the maid tells you is correct.

You do not need to pay for this as she most likely lied about the condition of her teeth and the amount of check ups she has had. Teeth do not decay THAT fast.

It would be sad to pull out her teeth. I know the dentist will pull the teeth for 25. to 50. Singapore dollars.

Have her pay it out of this months and next months salary.
