How many of you got the SMS about the pet shop in joo chiat closing down and looking for kind people to take pure breed dogs free of charge? With a phone number and name to call.
I got the message 3 x from people who do not know each other and are in different "friends circles"
That shows that the usual 6 degree separation is probably reduced to 3 degree in Singapore.
I also wonder if it was a hoax to jam the phone number of the person. Quite a clever way to get back at someone - mean, but clever.

I got it from two people who, with a high probability, do not know each other. Was there indeed a pet shop behind the sms?

There are many establishments along that road - not sure if i have seen pet shop there...
the text of the sms was on the AB, was deleted and now it appeared again.
"
Pet shop in JOO CHIAT is closing today! They have 2 huskies, 1 black
lab, 1 sh1tzu, 1 huskie x terrier to give away.
Unfortunately if they don't find homes, they will be destroyed
PLEASE CALL Mariam ib 97302064."
This Mariam sure p*ssed someone off!
